The State Labor Inspectorate places a blockade on the company

The State Inspectorate of Labor and Social Services has today placed a work suspension bar in the ferrochrome shredding department of the " Albchrome " company, located in the Paprri industrial zone in Elbasan.

The decision comes after an incident that occurred this Wednesday, where an employee, mechanic Rubin Meçja, was injured while working after a plate weighing hundreds of kilograms fell on his body.

The accident reportedly occurred around 12:15 in the ferrochrome shredding department.

The mechanic was reportedly working with a group of colleagues to replace ferrochrome shredder plates, a process that was carried out from time to time at the AlbChrome plant.

It is reported that Rudin Meçja was under the shredder's plate and was hit hard in the shoulder and spine by its aggregate.

He was immediately transported to the Elbasan Regional Hospital and then sent to Trauma in Tirana.
