In the deadline for the submission of claims for the Elbasan incinerator, the legal defenders of the defendants submitted their claims for the charges raised by SPAK.

Klodian Zoto's lawyer claims that his client did not commit tax evasion as all the documentation was done in accordance with the law, in the conditions when the country was in an environmental emergency.

The lawyers of the other defendants have claimed the same, stating that they have not violated the law and have not committed any of the criminal offenses alleged by SPAK.

In relation to the Elbasan incinerator, the Special Court has granted another security measure for Alqi Bllako, who was previously only accused of the Fier incinerator, making his position before the law even more difficult.

It is understood that all defense attorneys will seek summary judgment.

After analyzing the objections presented by the lawyers, the prosecutor Klodian Braho is expected to send the file to the court.

It will be a preliminary hearing, decisive for the initiation or not of the trial or the return to complete the investigations.
