Katerina Nakoleci, the eldest daughter of the couple Pandeli and Mariola Nakoleci, has made a touching post about the tragic loss of her mother.

The 36-year-old was murdered by her husband yesterday morning in Volos, shocking her family and the entire community there.

"Ike, my mom, I will miss you so much. I know you will see us up there, but Dinos, Asimina and I love you so much. You are forever in our lives," writes Katerina, unable to believe that she will never see her mother again.

Meanwhile, Pandeli Nakoleci remains on the run.

The 40-year-old Albanian man who killed his wife, Mariola Nakoleci, yesterday, in front of their four children, is being intensively sought by the Greek police, but so far has not been able to locate him.

"Authorities now consider it possible that the 40-year-old perpetrator of the brutal murder in Volos may have committed suicide, following the horrific murder of his wife and mother of four children," Greek media report, taking into account Pandeliu's past.

Greek police say the perpetrator had a serious psychiatric history. In June 2025, he attempted suicide, which led to his admission to a psychiatric clinic.
