According to MeteoAlb, the Siberian cold has gripped the Balkan peninsula, dictating the weather conditions in the Albanian territory as well. As a result, clear skies, frequent clouds as well as extremely low temperatures will be dominant throughout the country.
Midday and afternoon bring occasional cloud development in the two north-south extremes generating isolated snow showers.
Another problematic parameter will be the wind, which will blow cold from the north-east, making it feel even colder. It is predicted that even during the night we will remain in the same cold atmospheric conditions.
Air temperatures will drop significantly both in minimum and maximum values, fluctuating daily values from the lowest -7°C to the highest 11°C in the territory.
The wind will blow medium and strong at a speed of 55 km/h from the Northeast direction; this will cause waves of 4-5 degrees to be generated on the sea coasts
