The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of Florenc Çapja, who requested the change of the "prison arrest" measure imposed on him by the GJKKO and confirmed by the Appeals, under the suspicion that he was included in the 'Golden Bullet' file.

Çapja, who was extradited from Dubai on May 2 of this year, is facing a security measure in absentia on charges of "providing conditions for murder" to the detriment of Sokol Sanxhaktari, the son-in-law of former Elbasan mayor Qazim Sejdini, a plan that was not carried out.

Through his lawyer, Çapja claimed that he did not use SkyEcc and that the charges against him were raised only based on a statement by Nuredin Dumani and Henrik Hoxhaj. At the same time, Florenc Çapja was sentenced to life imprisonment as one of the masterminds of the murder of Gentian and Nezir Beqiri (father and son) in 2012 in Elbasan.

Father and son were killed in their apartment, where Gentian Beqiri alias Ardian Meta was under 'house arrest' and guarded by two police officers at the door of the house, after being accused of being the author of the murder of well-known businessman Sokol Çapja, an event that occurred in December 2005, which was allegedly paid by the Çelaj tribe.

The murder of Gentian Beqiri took place inside his apartment, located in the "Sporti i vjetër" neighborhood in Elbasan, where, while he was lying in bed after being paralyzed, he was shot to death with 7 bullets from a pistol with a silencer, and then his father, Nezir Beqiri, was also killed.

At the beginning of January this year, SPAK requested the confiscation of Florenc Çapja's seized assets after a property investigation began in 2022. Of the 10 seized assets, 8 are in the names of Florenc Çapja's father and mother, all in the "Emin Matraxhiu" neighborhood in Elbasan, which is considered the base of the Çapja's structured criminal group.
