Baftjar and Indrit Çelaj

The Çelaj family in Ngracan, Mallakastra, escorted the head of the family Baftjar Çelaj, who ended his life by drinking photoxy, to his last residence. The 63-year-old is the father of Indri Çelaj, the air conditioner technician, who was killed by the brothers Griseldo and Albano Kusi on August 22, 2019.

Relatives of the 63-year-old say that they were shocked after receiving the news, since no one expected him to take such an extreme act for life.

"When we found out, we were very sorry, because we left it well. I had my daughter's engagement and when my brother-in-law took it, my husband couldn't handle it. He could not bear that of the boy. My heart is weak, he said, it's useless to live. Don't let it happen to anyone. Very bored with life because he could not afford it" - said the sister-in-law.

His family members have shown that during all this time, Baftjar Çelaj has sought justice by not accepting the punishment given to the perpetrators. And in her absence, he could not bear the pain by ending his life.
