The Durrës Prosecutor's Office will conduct investigative experiments to determine which of the children, Hygerta or Hysen Meta, shot 4 bullets at their father Pëllumb Meta.

This decision was taken due to the contradictory testimonies given by the children during the preliminary investigations.

The Criminal Police in Durrës is also conducting investigative experiments in the Meta family's apartment to determine the angle of the shooting and how the children acted.

The Court of Durrës has ordered the security measure of detention in prison for Hysen, Hygerta and Amarildo Meta. The latter is accused only of hiding the corpse. While the 25-year-old man and the 19-year-old woman are also accused of "murder due to family relations".
