NAMES/ Tried to steal an apartment in 2023, two people are arrested in Prush

Two people were put in handcuffs after they tried to steal an apartment in the village of Prush in Tirana.

As soon as they found the Police services, they shot at them, and then left.

The detainees are also suspected perpetrators of a theft of a jewelry store in Kamez, and of an attempted theft in a business on the Vorë-Tirana road.

Two firearms, pistols, combs and combat ammunition, three mobile phones and 3 SIM cards were seized.

The authors have been identified as Klodjan Cypi and Kleotild Bardhi.

Police notification :

The police operation coded "Blind", by the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with Police Station No. 6, and Kurbin Police Station.

The attempted burglary of an apartment in Prush, where the suspects, having just ascertained the Police services, shot at them and then left, is clarified and documented with legal evidence.

Two citizens are arrested and another is declared wanted.

The detainees are also suspected perpetrators of a theft of a jewelry store in Kamez, and of an attempted theft in a business on the Vorë-Tirana road.

Two firearms, pistols, combs and combat ammunition, a vehicle, 8 mobile devices and 3 sim cards, and a GPS device were seized.

Specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with Police Station No. 6, and the Kurbin Police Station, following the work to clarify the thefts that happened before, based on police intelligence, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Blind".

As a result, citizens were detained:

- KC, 37 years old, resident of Fushë Krujë, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Robbery with a weapon", committed in cooperation, pending attempt, "Murder of a State Police employee", pending attempt, "Keeping license and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition",

- KB, 32 years old, resident of Laç, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", and "Actions that prevent the discovery of the truth".

Also, efforts are being made to capture the citizen FT, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Theft with a weapon", committed in cooperation, pending attempt, "Murder of a State Police employee", pending attempt, "Carrying without a permit and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

From the investigative actions carried out, it is suspected that the citizens of KC and FT, on 09.12.2023, attempted to steal from a residence in the village of Prush, and as soon as they found the services of the Police, they opened fire on them, with weapons, and left with an "Audi" type vehicle, owned by a UN citizen

Also, it is suspected that these citizens are the authors of the event that happened on 28.11.2023, where a jeweler was stolen in Kamëz, and the remaining attempted thefts in a business on the Vorë-Tirana road.

As material evidence, two disassembled firearms and pistols, found in the residence of the KB citizen, a vehicle, 8 mobile phones and three sim cards, and a GPS device were seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
