From today, the implementation of the agreement comes into force, according to which the citizens of Albania and Kosovo will pass through the common border point Albania-Kosovo with accelerated procedures throughout the 9 months of the year and on holiday weekends.

Previously, this period of ease of movement was in the 4 months of summer. The citizens of Kosovo who have chosen to travel today say that the implementation of this agreement significantly facilitates border crossings.

Meanwhile, since the early hours of today, the Morina customs point has faced a large flow of travelers from Kosovo, who were traveling to Albania to celebrate May 1st, but also to spend a few days off.

Only in the early hours of today, about 5,000 citizens of Kosovo and 3,000 small vehicles and dozens of buses entered Albania from Kosovo.
