Zamira Durdaj, the mother of Edison, who lost his life in the Gërdec tragedy, spoke after the postponement of the hearing against former minister Fatmir Mediu. She told reporters that she is looking for justice because her son is no longer alive and she will pursue this case to the end.

"I ask for justice and for them to give me an answer why Edisioni is not alive. For me, the accusation of abuse of office is not enough. I will see how it goes. I want an answer why Edison is not alive. For as long as the prosecution has taken only the one from the high officials, I have asked to be investigated and get either guilt or innocence", said Durdaj.

Meanwhile, the lawyer emphasized that the prosecutor has kept the investigative process secret and has not shared any information.

"Having or not having faith in justice is not the most important thing. We went from an era when this case was not tried at all, to a case that is being tried. There is an investigation faction but we have no information on any more. The prosecutor does not share information with anyone. When the moment comes to communicate the accusation to someone, it will be the moment to speak", stated Durdaj.
