The untimely death of VOA journalist Rudina Dervishi was a shock to all those who knew her. She passed away at the age of 53 after a two-year battle with breast cancer.
Yesterday, her friend, the designer Klodi Mengri, shared memories with her late friend for the first time in "Ftesë na 5".
They had known each other for 26 years and maintained a close friendship, the last few years at a distance after Rudina had moved to the US for work.
Very moved, Claude remembered the last visit to America, a visit not as they both had imagined...
"He did not accept it in any way, he did not accept death. He didn't want to accept it. I was there. All the scientific facts said that she should accept it, but she expected miracles, miracles can happen all the time. That's what she was waiting for, that's what she wanted, that's what she was looking for," said Klodi, who showed that her friend had taught her to maintain balance in what we call the drama of life.
Asked by Bieta about any regrets or Rudina's bequests, Klodi said that her only concern was the 3 boys.
