For his part, Kraag congratulated the Director General on his appointment and guaranteed unconditional support from Europol to the State Police, in terms of exchanging information to combat organized crime, drug crimes, migrant smuggling and cybercrime, by conducting proactive investigations and joint operations with Europol and its member states.
Also, the focus of the discussions was the importance of implementing the new State Police strategy against organized crime 2026-2028, as well as the HROCG Analytical Project, which includes the identification, profiling and tracking of the most dangerous criminal groups at the international level, the analysis of criminal networks, the exchange of intelligence, and the coordination of joint operations to combat them.
This project aims to increase investigative and operational capacities, as well as synchronized intervention against cross-border criminal activities.
