On Thursday, July 4, the Central Election Commission is expected to start the procedures for announcing the vacancy for the leadership of the Municipality of Himara.

At 11:00, the CEC announces that it will approve the draft decision " On examining the validity of the mandate of the Mayor of Himarë, Alfred. Beleri ".

Due to the decriminalization law, Beler's swearing in as president seems impossible and the CEC will find the invalidity of his mandate, after the final sentence by the Special Court of Appeal.

At the end of the procedures by the Central Election Commission, the fate of the new elections in Himara will be in the hands of the President, who within 45 days from the announcement of the vacancy must decree the date of the new elections.
