At least 200 families in Theth have already been provided with their ownership certificates.

" You gave us back our identity, these last 30 years we lost our identity. When a village loses its identity it is said that they are off. We were turned off and shunned, because we didn't know where we came from ," said Zef Bari, one of the residents of Theth village, as he received the property title.

Just a month ago, Prime Minister Rama made a promise to provide ownership certificates, a promise that few thought would be fulfilled in such a short time.

But, thanks to the non-hourly work of the mortgage and the Director of Stimulated Areas Andi Muhametaj, the issuance of 200 certificates was done in record time.

This takes on even more value, when the institution was faced with a challenge of over 30 years, since the mountainous areas of the north stand out for a special problem.

Most of the residents have been without title deeds for their homes and lands, because in 1992, they rejected Law 7501 on land division while maintaining the old property boundaries, which left them without title deeds.

But with the development of tourism and the increase in the number of tourists in these areas, in the absence of the certificate they had no opportunity to develop their property.

Fortunately, this issue has ended and in addition to receiving ownership certificates, all fines for illegal constructions made over the years will be waived for residents./ VoxNews
