The trial on the merits has begun for former SP MP Alqi Bllako regarding the Tirana Incinerator case.
Alqi Bllako is accused of passive corruption in two cases and has requested a summary trial, which means that if he is found guilty, his sentence will be reduced by 1/3.
This request by the former socialist legislator, which was made in the preliminary hearing as well as in today's trial (January 14), was accepted by the trial panel.
SPAK requested time to prepare the claim for Alqi Ballako and the hearing will be postponed to another date.
