Investigations against Veliaj, Dumani: Checks are a tool to find evidence!

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, spoke to journalists today, where he answered a number of their questions.

Among other things, Dumani was also asked about the investigations against Mayor Erion Veliaj.

The head of SPAK has stated that Veliaj's case is in the preliminary investigation phase. Regarding the searches conducted at Veliaj's apartment, Dumani says that they are a tool for searching for evidence.


"The matter is in the preliminary investigation phase and I cannot make more information public. You have reported on the checks, but they are a tool for seeking evidence," Dumani said regarding the investigations against Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj.

We recall that on December 6, by order of SPAK, Investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation conducted searches in the apartment of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, this Friday morning.

Meanwhile, regarding the search conducted at his apartment, Mayor Erion Veliaj has expressed that he is open and supports SPAK at every step.

He stated that he does not belong to that political class that considers itself untouchable.
