One of the two children of Gentiana Hudhra , the 45-year-old Albanian woman stabbed to death two days ago in Italy by her ex-husband in the middle of a park, has told how she experienced the serious event.
The Albanian's son, Mario, told foreign media that he had met with his father before he stabbed his mother to death.
"I went to eat ice cream with my dad, then he killed my mom," he said.
The 55-year-old author, of Albanian origin, stated that he had considered acting 2-3 times over the past month.
He killed his ex-wife, with whom he had been separated since 2021, using an 18-centimeter bladed knife, as she was on her way to work.
He told the police he did this to save the children.
Meanwhile, an autopsy has been ordered on the victim's body.
The crime occurred in the evening, on June 14, shortly after 7:45 p.m., on Viale Benadduci, in the center of the Marche city, near a park.
A violent argument broke out between the two, which quickly escalated. Nikollaqi pulled out a knife and stabbed her several times, before kicking Gentiane's helpless body.
Shocked passersby immediately notified the emergency services. The Carabinieri, 118 and the police arrived at the scene and found the killer still sitting on the bench, his eyes fixed on the woman.
Nikollaq did not resist and was taken to the police station to be questioned by the public prosecutor, Enrico Riccioni.
"I heard screams and saw the man kicking the woman," said a witness.
"At one point she fell to the ground, helpless, while he continued to kick her. I immediately called 118, approached her and saw a lot of blood. He was sitting on a bench, almost satisfied, and said: 'I did it, I'm fine. I'm waiting,'" the witness added.
The former couple have two children, ages 21 and 23, who lived with their mother.
