The National Bureau of Investigation has announced the opening of the competition for the position of Deputy Director, following the appointment of Joni Keta as head of this institution, leaving the second leading position vacant.

Only investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation are eligible to apply for this position. The selection process will be conducted by the Head of the Special Prosecution Office and the Director of the National Bureau of Investigation, in accordance with applicable legal procedures.

A special file will be created for each candidate, which will be administered by the Human Resources and Documentation Directorate. This Directorate will be responsible for completing, verifying and updating the documentation until the selection process is completed.

The evaluation of candidates will be based on the submitted documentation, fulfillment of legal criteria, performance assessments by Special Prosecutors and direct superiors, as well as verification of data for possible disciplinary measures.

Candidates must submit a formal application, a platform on the understanding of the Deputy Director's function and his/her role in management, human resources, communication and inter-institutional relations, as well as a professional CV. A recent evaluation by a direct superior, additional documentation proving training, qualifications and education, as well as a certificate proving knowledge of the English language are also required.

Documents must be physically submitted to the Human Resources Directorate at the National Bureau of Investigation, by January 22, 2026.

The process aims to select a professional profile with integrity and experience, in order to strengthen the management structure of the BKH and increase efficiency in the investigation of serious criminal offenses.

Among the criteria are:
Candidates who will apply for Deputy Director at the National Bureau of Investigation must complete and submit the following documents:

a. Application request;

b. A platform on understanding the function of the Deputy Director, the role in the field of management, human resources management, communication, teamwork, interaction and inter-institutional relations;

c. Biography;

d. The last evaluation by the direct superior;

e. Any other documentation that proves training, qualifications, additional education, positive evaluations or other mentioned in your resume.

f. Certificate of English language proficiency.
