The EU Council Working Group approves IBAR, the Intergovernmental Conference

The Working Group in the Council of the European Union has approved the draft for IBAR, marking another important step in Albania's European integration process.

According to diplomatic sources, EU member states have reached agreement on a common position, which is expected to receive final approval tomorrow at the COREPER meeting, attended by ambassadors of European Union member states.

Meanwhile, the EU-Albania intergovernmental conference is expected to take place on May 26, a key moment in the continuation of negotiations for the country's membership in the European Union.
