The Royal Guard of Norway, in cooperation with the Wind Orchestra of the Albanian Armed Forces, performed yesterday on the Boulevard 'Dëshmorët e Kombit'. Considered one of the best in the world, their performance was attended by hundreds of citizens on the streets of the capital.
Meanwhile, during the presentation ceremony, an unexpected situation occurred in the premises of a hotel in Tirana. A woman lost consciousness after fainting as the ceremony continued.
But the Norwegian guard has become a shield around her, as she receives first aid, to avoid prying eyes.
Together with the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi and ambassadors of foreign countries, present at this activity was also the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj. He stressed that the presence of the Norwegian Guard is one of the most important events among the 1000 events that are taking place within Tirana, the European Capital of Youth.
The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi considered this activity the continuation of a very good relationship that Albania and Norway have in the field of defense as NATO allies.
