The woman from Fieri "makes a hole" for her husband/ Elsa told the

The wife of Eduard Mehmetaj, one of the wanted persons during the anti-drug operation in Fier, where the police seized 30 kg of hashish and 500 grams of cocaine, appears to have cooperated and told the police about her husband's criminal activity.

During this operation carried out 10 days ago, Osmën Mehmetaj, the father of Eduard and Panajot Shahaj, the neighbor of the wanted person, Eduard Mehmetaj, was arrested. In the file, it appears that Eduard's wife, citizen Elsa Mehmetaj, provided enough data for the identification of the persons.

According to her, the "Volvo" type vehicle where the police found the narcotics is registered in the name of her husband Eduarti, but he did not buy it himself. According to the witness, the vehicle was bought by the man's friends, about whom she does not know their names or where they are from. " ...the vehicle has been parked for about two months and has not moved since the day it was parked. Regarding the pressing machine, I don't know whose it is, but Eduardi brought it home with his "Audi" type vehicle, about two months ago... .

With the machine for pressing packages with narcotics, Eduarti packed them on September 7, 2023, together with Asqeri Shahaj, who is a resident of our neighborhood... ", Elsa Mehmetaj confessed.

The latter continued her testimony to the police that Eduarti brought the narcotic the day before the police went to the house. That same night, he packed and placed the packages in the "Volvo" car together with Asqeri alias Panajot Shahaj.

Eduard Mehmetaj, was dealing with insulating the soles of houses and painting cars. Other people took a "Volvo" vehicle to his service, contracting him to carry out possible modifications in order to hide 30 kg of hashish and 500 grams of cocaine, in order to traffic it towards Greece.

But the police of Fier became aware of this plan, managing to discover the car and the amount of drugs. The father and neighbor of Eduard Mehmetaj was arrested for this incident.
