Pëlumb Meta's wife speaks for the first time and reveals shocking

Blerina Meta, the wife of the late Pëllumb Meta who was killed and buried by his children, has told the media for the first time what led to the shocking event.

She said in the show "Pa Gjurmë" that Pëllumb Meta was aggressive and abused both her and his children.

"I am a systematically abused woman, for 26 years of physical, psychological, verbal violence, to the maximum. The whole family, but I was the one who experienced it the most. Even the windows of the second floor were sometimes not opened, when the police came they saw that the windows were boarded up", she said.

According to her, the husband's psychological and physical violence has been continuous.

"Violence was present, I had found my way that I never objected to. He decided everything himself, spoke for himself. I was used to it and I had accepted it, not that I wanted it. I didn't report him just out of fear. "His threats were constantly different," she declared.

Asked about the children, Blerina Meta said that they have been under constant pressure, perhaps even in a state of depression, due to their father's violence.

"I knew for a fact that he had not come for three days. When he ran away from home, as if he escaped from violence, from terror. Fear has entered every blood cell. There is no child who will kill the father, but this means that the children have grown up under a great pressure of fear, they have been in a state of depression, I am sure," said Blerina Meta.

According to her, Pëllumb Meta had once threatened the eldest son because he was sleeping too much.

"The girl seemed tense, I thought it was because of the lessons. With a knife in his throat, he took it and put it on the big boy, because he saw that he was sleeping a little, why does he sleep so much", she said.
