The Tirana court has decided to postpone for another 20 days the security measure " arrest in prison " for 35-year-old Jetnor Zhaboli , who kept his mother, wife and two minor children locked inside their apartment for months.

The lawyers asked for temporary hospitalization in psychiatry until the psycholegal expertise is done .

Zhaboli himself spoke briefly in court where he said that he did such an action, " to take care of the family members as he was afraid for them ".

The new 20-day deadline will be used to conduct medical examinations, as experts failed to present conclusions at Monday's hearing.

About 3 weeks ago, he was arrested after the discovery by the authorities of the case, imposing a "20-day prison term ".
