Greece gives Albania a plane to extinguish the flames
Aircraft in aid of Albania

While for three days the army forces and ADZM employees are fighting with the flames in Sazan, Albania has managed to provide an air vehicle to extinguish the fires from Greece.

The Ministry of Defense of Albania informs that Greece responded positively to our request, bringing us a Canader firefighting aircraft.

He will be ready to intervene if judged by experts early in the morning.

The Department of Defense announces that the Canadair CL 415 aircraft comes in support of the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism, "Emergency Response Coordination Center" (ERCC).

Earlier, the National Civil Protection Agency had made a request to this mechanism of the European Union. Greece immediately responded positively to Albania's request, seeing that our country did not have any helicopters available to extinguish the flames.
