Robbery of 5.4 MILLION euros in Rinas in 2019, SPAK demands 19 years in PRISON

SPAK announces the claim for Talo Çela , related to the mega-robbery of 4.5 million euros at the Mother Teresa airport in Rinas, an event recorded in April 2019.

Spak is asking for his sentence to be 19 years in prison.

After reading the claim, Talon Ccela's lawyer asked for some time to familiarize himself with the SPAK material.

The Special Court composed of Erjon Bani, Rudina Palloj and Elsa Ulliri scheduled the court hearing on November 21 at 10.00, where the decision regarding Çela will be announced.

The latter is one of the most wanted persons in Albania. He was declared wanted as part of the coded operation "Golden Bullet", which led to the capture of Nuredin Duman, Henrik Hoxhaj and several other people, part of the world of crime.

For the 2019 event, the GJKKO in October last year sentenced 7 defendants of the criminal group to 122 years in prison.

Klement Çala was sentenced to 20 years, while the other six Oltion Veseli, Renaldo Sulaj, Saimir Cela, Oltion Pikli, Alkond Bengasi and Eldi Çala were sentenced to 17 years in prison.

 The convicts are serving their sentences in a high security prison.
