A couple of Italian tourists have fallen prey to robbery in the city of Vlora.

The event took place in the city's Lungomare, which is one of the most frequented areas on the eve of the tourist season.

As reported, the Italians parked their car in Lungomare, and went to have lunch at a nearby restaurant. When they went near the car, they noticed that the robbers had broken the glass of the passenger door, taking a sum of money from the bag that was inside, as well as all the documents of the vehicle.

Police forces have gone to the scene and are working to identify the perpetrators.
