The President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj, announced yesterday (December 10) that she does not intend to recognize March 10, 2025 as the end date of her mandate as a member of the Constitutional Court.

For this reason, she decided to address a request for an opinion to the Venice Commission.

However, today, through an announcement, the Supreme Court announces that it has initiated application procedures for a vacant position on the Constitutional Court, thus recognizing the vacancy after the end of Zaça's mandate.
