The Special Court was unable to hold the trial of Dritan Rexhepi and others accused of the kidnapping of Jan Prenga this Thursday.

At the beginning of the session, SPAK said that by means of a letter of recommendation they will address the Turkish authorities in Ankara to inform Dritan Rexhepi about the trial.

As long as he is under arrest, the process cannot continue without the official notification of Rexhepi on the charges against him in Albania.

The process against him in our country has started for several months, this Thursday the Prosecutor's Office will read the request for the evidence that will be brought to the process. Earlier, Festim Bexhdili, the gardener of the Golden Resort complex where Jan Prenga was held hostage, was sentenced to life imprisonment, as well as Olsi Turja, the manager of the resort, to three years in prison.
