The officers of the Shkodra police were stunned when a young man appeared at the doors of the police station asking to hand over money. The 16-year-old, Erind Shkambaj, on Sunday morning had left like every other weekend, for work, but on the way, he found a wallet on the ground.

"Passing the street, I saw a protofol. I took it, it had Italian papers, bank cards. It didn't take half an hour, man, I saw that no one passed. I put it in my back pocket and went to check it somewhere, where I can't no one saw me and I saw that there was lek inside, about 6-7 thousand euros." said Erind Shkambaj for TCH.

It belonged to the Italian tourist Claudio Perrinella, who had stopped in the village of Oblika in Shkodër, where Erindi lives, to buy something and then the wallet fell out of his pocket. In it were identity cards, bank account cards and an amount of over 6,000 euros.

Money for which the boy has to work for a long time to earn. The generosity and nobility of the 16-year-old was rewarded with only 100 euros from the Italian.

"That lek does not enter the house in my opinion. Better 100 euros that the Italian forgave me than 6400 euros" says the generous boy.

Erindi tells us that in his family all are simple workers and are used to earning everything with sweat.

During the week, the young man continues high school, while on weekends he works as an assistant waiter in one of the restaurants in the city. In the afternoons, he trains hard with the Shkodra team with the dream of one day becoming a great goalkeeper.
