A German citizen is found without signs of life in Fier

A German citizen was found dead in his rented apartment in the "Kongresi i Përmetit" neighborhood in Fier.

According to preliminary police sources, the elderly man, around 80 years old, had not had contact with his family and friends who accompanied him to Fier for three days, who, alarmed, notified the police.

Citizen Detlef Fertig had been in Fier for 15 days for dental tourism but lost his life.

From the preliminary examination of the elderly man's body, there are no signs of violence, which suggests that death may have been natural.

Police announcement:

At around 1:00 PM, in the "Konferenca e Pezës" neighborhood, Fier, German citizen DF, around 80 years old, was found without signs of life in a rented apartment.

A preliminary examination of the body revealed no signs of violence and it is suspected that death occurred due to natural causes.

The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
