Kreshnik Ajazi and Arenc Çela competed against each other for the post of head of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.

But the High Prosecution Council, KLP, disqualified Kreshnik Ajazi by a majority vote.

KLP has disqualified him because there is a legal obstacle that he is the head of the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office. Kreshnik Ajazi is the brother of the socialist deputy in the city of Gramsh, Besjan Ajazi.

Only Arenc Çela remains in the race, who must be verified by the commission.

Kreshnik Ajazi officially took over the position of Chief Prosecutor of Elbasan on June 9, 2021.
