This weekend will be typical of summer, with high temperatures and long periods of sunshine. Meteorologist Akil Osmani said that some isolated local rains are not excluded on Sunday.

Hakil Osmani:  Dominance of clear skies and long sunny intervals. They will be dominant in the Western Lowlands, while in the mountainous areas there will occasionally be light passages of clouds, where on Sunday in the northeastern areas there will be few moments with rain drops, but they will be in quite isolated areas and will be quite temporary.  

According to forecasters, temperatures will continue to rise during the weekend, reaching 36 degrees Celsius in some cities.

Hakil Osmani:  Even during the weekend, it is predicted that we will have an increase in air temperatures, causing the maximum on Saturday to be around 34 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, we will have a maximum of 35 or 36 degrees Celsius recorded in cities such as Elbasan, Berat or Gjirokastra. Somewhat cooler will be the capital and Shkodra where they will have temperatures around 34 degrees Celsius. The coastline will have temperatures of 31-33 degrees Celsius at noon.

Even next week will be hot, according to forecasters, the first half of June is not expected to rain.
