The two passengers, 26-year-old Silva Gjergji from Rubiku and another unidentified girl, lost their lives, while the driver Arbër Tivari, 26, was injured and is in a serious condition in the Trauma hospital. This is the balance of the tragic accident recorded in the early hours of this morning on the Durrës-Tirana highway.

The car in which the young people were traveling to Tirana collided with the curb and was completely destroyed. It is suspected that the cause of the accident was the high speed, but some unusual circumstances on the road that forced the driver to swerve and lose control of the vehicle are also not excluded.

In the following photos, it is the 26-year-old Arbër Tivari who was driving the vehicle. Sources indicate that he was known as a problematic person in Durrës. In March 2021, he was shot in the hand by Alket Buçpapaj, who was also known as a problematic person for justice. Tivari was arrested earlier for distribution of narcotics and theft.

While after the search that the police carried out in his apartment after he was injured, Arbër Tivar was found with military ammunition, for which he was placed under the measure of arrest.

In the photo-gallery below is Arbër Tivari and photos of the totally destroyed car.
