In the last week alone, there have been 22 road accidents in the country in which 26 citizens were injured, 2 of whom lost their lives.

In 92 percent of cases, the accident occurred as a result of the driver's behavior.

An instruction of the General Directorate of Road Transport, already published in the Official Gazette aims to correct the misconduct of drivers of vehicles starting from driving schools.

The aim is to increase the quality in the theoretical and practical training of trainees.

Road safety experts, meanwhile, are calling for more attention from the authorities to drivers aged 18 to 24.

In addition to increasing controls on driving schools, the new regulation stipulates that drivers of vehicles who lose all points of their driving license, or whose driving license is revoked for serious and repeated violations, will be subject to the course from the beginning. , and will then be presented for the theory and practice test.
