Aleksandër Vucic/ Aleksandër Boçan-Karchenko

Aleksandër Vucic enters the Russian House in Belgrade. The Serbian President shook hands with Ambassador Aleksandër Boçan-Karchenko , as the latter played the role of a tourist guide, first by handing him the membership card and up to the presentation with the book of impressions.

Vucic left a note there, writing that he " confirms the traditional and strong friendship between the Serbian and Russian people ".

Contrary to the demands of the European Union and America, the Serbian president says that he will further strengthen relations with Moscow.

In the book of impressions, he also confessed a secret, saying that his father was a great Philorus and that as a boy he was trained in the Russian House. Vucic further added that the whole world, but also the Balkans, is rapidly arming itself, and announced that Serbia is also doing the same.

He claimed that he is not worried about the close monitoring that America is doing of the army and armament of Serbia.

He also spoke about Kosovo, repeating the usual positions, but also raised his voice against the statements of the British foreign minister, David Cameron, for the support offered for Kosovo's membership in the UN and for portraying Serbia as a satellite of Russia in the Balkans.

"Serbia is proud of its independence and that is why I am disappointed by British Foreign Minister Cameron's statement that Serbia is Russia's protectorate, as well as the stories that we will be the ones who destabilize the region. Obviously, many people worry when you have your own policy and that policy is not subject. We will continue to have our independent policy, even towards the Russian Federation", stated Vucic.

On the other hand, Putin's diplomat said that Russia will never ask Serbia to return to a Russian country.

During his stay at the Russian House, Vucic was presented with a book, a painting and watched a film with Ambassador Karchenko about Russian-Serbian relations.
