The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The focus of the conversation was cyber attacks on Albania by Iran. Stoltenberg says that NATO will continue to support Albania.

"I spoke with Prime Minister Edi Rama about the cyber attacks against our ally, Albania, attacks which many of the allies have attributed to Iran. NATO will continue to offer support and stands in full solidarity with Albania", writes Stoltenberg on Twitter.

After the attacks, Albania severed diplomatic relations with Iran. The USA has also reacted against cyber attacks, which has expressed support for Albania.
