Erion Veliaj released from Durres detention center

Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj left the detention center of Durrës Prison and is being transferred by the Prison Police to Tirana where he will participate in the Constitutional Court session.

The session starts at 10:00, and the rapporteur will be Sonila Bejtja. 

The Constitutional Court had previously announced Veliaj's presence at the hearing, after he had expressed his will. For this reason, the court requested the Directorate of Prisons to take measures to escort him from the Durrës detention center, where he has been held since February, as well as SPAK.
