The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, appeared this afternoon at SPAK premises in connection with the investigations into the events of January 21, 2011.

Lawyer Dorian Matlija, who represents the families of the victims of the Gërdec tragedy, announced on the show "The Unexposed" that an audio recording was submitted to SPAK in which a phrase is mentioned that alludes to former Interior Minister Lulzim Basha.

"We must bear in mind that Lulzim Basha was Minister of Interior.

The investigation is related to the bullet that was found in Aleks Nika's body. Today, there are more specialized tools. Even with the audio recording that SPAK has, the incident can be solved.

I see that there are good opportunities.

We take into account that Basha was Minister of Interior. Not only that, but also in the audio recording submitted to SPAK, a phrase is mentioned: "I'll pass you the minister."

The audio is being cut here, but I've been told that the audio that went to the prosecutor's office is more extensive and includes parts of Basha speaking on the radio.

"The shell was very deformed, it is suspected that it may have come from the Guard commander's weapon, but a re-examination will be needed, I do not have the information where they took it since these are secret investigations," said Matlija.
