A citizen from Britain challenged Prime Minister Edi Rama from the podium, demanding his resignation by June 21st.
"You radiate hope, change, revolution. I came from London. Edi Rama, like you, we emigrated from Britain, you came from Paris. You had a choice, I have a choice. You came as a model of a tolerant man, who would bring change. Look at how you have transformed into an authoritarian man.
In all the protests we have held in London, we have brought a message of resignation. In 36 years we have seen parties protesting to remove one regime and bring in another. This protest is a civic protest for revolution, for transformation, for democratizing reforms.
This is hope to realize the democratic processes that we abandoned in 1996 and that you are realizing today in 2026. This is a civic movement, but it requires political reform.
From Britain, we demand Rama's resignation and a caretaker government to lead the country through democratic processes for 12 months.
The caretaker government, which will lead the country for 12 months, should be mandated to guarantee the amendment of the Electoral Code.
We ask for open lists so that tomorrow's Parliament will have deputies with principles and morals.
"I challenge Rama, resign by June 21st and let the homeland dawn free on Monday, June 22nd," said the citizen.
