An Albanian citizen named Iborjan Fezullahu has been arrested in Great Britain after several repeated sexual assaults on his victims.
The 34-year-old has stated that he served 12 years in prison in Albania after being involved in a fight between gangs and arrived in Britain in July of this year while applying for asylum.
At the moment he did not have an apartment and lived on the streets of the country.
Ibrojan Fezullahu knocked on people's houses in Teesside on the pretext that he needed to charge his mobile phone.
He forcibly entered the apartment of the first victim and began to touch and kiss her with difficulty for almost 30 minutes until the woman was rescued by her husband.
He was aware his case had been referred to the police after being summoned by Teesside Magistrates' Court as he listened to an Albanian interpreter on an online link broadcast his case, British media reported. The court was told he saw the woman taking an order to the door and then aggressively asked her to come inside to charge his phone.
"He put his hand on her neck, started kissing her and touching her intimate areas. She tried to push him away as he violently pulled her toward him," the court heard.
The other case happened in Teesside when he knocked on another flat and asked another woman to come in to charge his phone. He communicated with the second victim with google translate, telling her that he was young in England, did not have a home and slept badly at night.
He was allowed to enter and began to approach the victim. She reacted immediately as she went to the second floor of the apartment to call her husband.
Iborjan Fezollahu was identified immediately after this case from the security cameras in the country seized by the Cleveland police. He was arrested by police forces on charges of two sexual assaults.
In court, Fezullahu said that his life is threatened in Albania and for this reason he requested asylum in Great Britain. Also, the defense lawyer, Kelleigh Lodge, has said that the defendant suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder due to the incident that he was imprisoned in Albania.
Judge Deborah Sherwin stated that the perpetrator repeatedly attacked his first victim. Fezullah has admitted his guilt by affirming that he touched them but did not have intercourse with them.
"Yes, I touched them in intimate areas, but that's all. Please help me, I suffer from anxiety", he said.
Iborjan Fezullahu was sentenced to 30 days by the English authorities, while it is not yet known what will happen to the Albanian after serving his sentence.
