Interior Minister Taulant Balla announced today in the Assembly that the extradition of two citizens from Spain and Italy is expected.
Shkëlqim Cakoni, 47 years old, is expected to be extradited from Italy.
Cakoni, in cooperation with citizen Edmond Pulaj, shot dead Mark Rrika, after an argument for weak motives.
The Court of the Kurbin Judicial District with decision no. 8 dated 19.01.2005 has sentenced Cakon to 18 years in prison for committing the criminal offenses "Murder with intent" committed in cooperation and "Carrying weapons without a permit" provided for by articles 76-25 and 278/ 2 of the Criminal Code.
