A serious accident resulting in death occurred this afternoon on the Milot-Fushë Krujë axis.

The victim, 65-year-old Hamit Gabili, was hit to death by a truck, while the driver was taken to the police.

"On 29.04.2024, around 18:05, in Thumana, a truck-type vehicle, driven by the citizen F. Xh., had an accident with the citizen HK, 65 years old, from Kruja, who died as a result of the accident.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further action, while the investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police said yesterday.
