Kreshnik Bajraktari is the new director of the port of Durrës.

He replaces former director Pirro Vengu in this position.

The latter, from this Tuesday, will be the new Minister of Defense, after the changes in the government announced by Prime Minister Rama at the Congress of the Socialist Party.

The new director of the port has so far held the position of advisor to the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.

He graduated from the Polytechnic University of Tirana and is originally from Kukësi.

His appointment was made on the day that the international competition for the construction of the new port in Porto Romano was opened.
