A serious incident happened in Tirana, where a 35-year-old man was taken hostage by 7 people.

The Tirana police say that the 7 people, in cooperation with each other, took the 35-year-old hostage and threatened him with the intention of taking his property.

The Court of Tirana has set the security measure of arrest and imprisonment for 4 of them, Tori (Hector) Xhecuka , 36 years old, Aleksandër Osmani , 37 years old, Artan Pirraci , 50 years old, and Fredi Keta , 49 years old.

Meanwhile, three others have been placed under house arrest, namely Naim Qarri ( president of the Kamza club ) , 52 years old, Sajmir Kolaveri , 42 years old, and Adem Metkola , 46 years old. All security measures have been implemented by the Tirana Police.

"From the investigative actions, it has emerged that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, have taken away a 35-year-old man's freedom, and have threatened him to give away property," the police announced.

They are charged with "Extortion by means of threats or violence to give property", and "Illegal deprivation of liberty".
