The Milan prison nurse of Albanian origin was arrested by Italian authorities two days ago.
She is accused of occasionally supplying prohibited items to convicts serving time at the institution called " Opera Prison " during his shift.
Services were performed mainly towards fellow countrymen.
The flagrante delicto case is related to an Albanian to whom the items were delivered.
Previously, the nurse had met another 44-year-old Albanian in Milan to pick up a "package" that would be delivered behind bars.
The contents were 5 mobile phones, a charger with several adapters and 1,700 euros in 20 and 50 euro banknotes.
The officers had become suspicious of her movements and activity, keeping her under surveillance.
According to the charges, they were intended for the prisoner Shemsi Karaj , also a 32-year-old Albanian, who was serving his sentence in November 2027 for around thirty residential burglaries that occurred in the Bergamo area and other provinces of Lombardy between November 6 and December 9, 2016./ Ilgiorno
