Mariza Terveti Papadatou

Greek authorities have identified and arrested the perpetrators of the murder of a notary on the island of Zakynthos.

A father, son and their friend, from Albania, are the perpetrators of the murder of notary Mariza Terveti Papadatou, on February 19 in Zakynthos.

They have been identified as Bedri Saraseli, 46 years old, Veis Saraseli, 21 years old, and Spiro Harshiu , 50 years old, all three from Kuçova .

During the preliminary investigation, the youngest son of the Albanian family allegedly confessed that he was the one who managed to inflict the fatal stab wound on the notary.

The three Albanians, motivated by robbery, had forced their way into the notary's house.

As she resisted, the youngest of the perpetrators fatally wounded her in the thigh with a sharp object.

The victim was later found by her son, unconscious on the steps of her house, next to the car.

The woman had a deep wound from a sharp, cutting instrument on the inner part of her left thigh, above the knee, a wound that caused uncontrollable bleeding and resulted in death.

The three Albanians are also being investigated for other theft cases on the island.

With the criminal case filed against them, they are expected to be transferred to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
