Durrës police have handcuffed the citizens Klejvis Drevishi and Gentjan Domi, after they were caught in the act, in their premises, in Shijak and in the village of Xhavzotaj, placing sports bets with mobile phones.

The police informs that the 2 mobile phones used by the young people, which were used for placing bets, were also seized.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.

"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Shijak Police Station, as a result of the controls carried out within the coded police operation "The last bet", with a focus on preventing, identifying and cracking down on cases of the organization of various games of chance, in violation of the law, they found 2 other cases in this field.

For these cases, citizens GD, 49 years old and KD, 23 years old, both residents of Shijak, were put in handcuffs.

These citizens were caught in the act, in their premises, namely in Shijak and in the village of Xhavzotaj, while placing sports bets, via mobile phones", the police announcement states.
