The police of Vlora have seized about 260 kg of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa which was being transported in luxury vehicles of the "Camper" type, with Romanian license plates.

As a result, 4 Romanian citizens were put in handcuffs, more specifically the citizens: Mariu Cimpeanu, 20 years old, Mihaela Cimpeanu, 20 years old, Florin Tucan, 24 years old and Andreaa Pislaru, 21 years old. Also, 5 other citizens have been declared wanted, as collaborators in this criminal activity. The perpetrators had the goal of transporting drugs to Greece.

Në vijim të operacioneve policore për goditjen e trafikimit të lëndëve narkotike, strukturat hetimore dhe Forca Operacionale e Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Vlorë, si dhe shërbimet e Komisariateve të Policisë Sarandë dhe Himarë, nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë Vlorë, bazuar në inteligjencën policore, finalizuan me sukses operacionin policor të koduar “CAMPER”.

As part of this operation, today, in the early hours of the morning, it was possible to capture and handcuff 4 Romanian citizens who were transporting a quantity of 260 kilograms of cannabis sativa narcotics, in 2 luxury vehicles of the "Camper" type, with license plates Romanian, with the aim of trafficking this substance to the Greek state and beyond.

Specifically, the citizens were arrested in the act: MC, 20 years old, MC, 20 years old, FT, 24 years old and AP, 21 years old, all four with Romanian citizenship. Also, 5 citizens are wanted as collaborators in this criminal activity, but due to the investigation, their data is not made public.

During the control of their vehicles, in an attempt to leave the Albanian territory, a quantity of 260 kilograms of narcotics was found hidden in a secret and artificially adapted compartment in the vehicle.

Nga veprimet hetimore dyshohet se këta shtetas, për llogari të disa bashkëpunëtorëve të tyre shqiptarë, tashmë të shpallur në kërkim, kamufloheshin si turistë, duke marre me qera campera luksozë, dhe të ndarë në dy çifte kryenin trafikimin e lëndës narkotike nga vendi ynë për në Greqi dhe më tej.

Nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë Vlorë vijon puna për dokumentimin e plotë të këtij rasti, si dhe për kapjen dhe vënien përpara përgjegjësisë të bashkautorëve të tjerë shqiptarë tashmë të shpallur në kërkim nga Policia.

Policia e Vlorës është e angazhuar maksimalisht për parandalimin dhe goditjen e veprimtarisë kriminale të kultivimit dhe trafikimit të lëndëve narkotike.

It is worth noting that the structures of the DVP Vlorë, in recent months, have been maximally engaged, thanks to the cooperation and trust of the citizens, to prevent criminal events, to attack the indoor cultivation and trafficking of narcotics, the capture of wanted persons and of those who circulate with firearms.

We assure the citizens that the State Police is at their service and very determined to fight together, with partners and other law enforcement agencies, organized crime and illegal traffic.
