New details regarding the murder of Vani Koxha and the wounding of his brother have come to light.
The Italian media "Il Gazzettino" revealed the names of the two people handcuffed for the incident, the two citizens from North Macedonia, Adnan Ramadani , 30 years old and Imer Imeri , 49 years old.
Imeri is accused of fighting in public places and risks imprisonment from two to six years, while for Ramadani the charge will be more severe since he was caught with a knife in his hand.
It remains to be verified if that knife was used for the two fatal blows to the chest of the 41-year-old Albanian and for wounding his brother.
So far, no traces of blood have been found on the knife, but the investigation continues.
statements
During the interrogation, Ramadani used the right not to answer, while Imeri claims that he did not see anything and did not participate in the fight.
He told the judge that at the time the incident happened he was sitting in a nearby bar, but did not participate in the crash because he had just had an operation due to problems with his back and leg.
His defense also added that his client has a limp, so there is no chance that he would have participated in the collision as it would have put his life at risk. But even this protection did not free him from prison.
