The surface of the Kukës lake, after the rains that fell during the last days, has started to be covered with urban waste, the pollution is often repeated in the catchment basin of the largest hydropower plant in the country, that of Fierza.
Such a scene is repeated every time there is rain with floods in the northeast of the country and in Kosovo.
As it is known, the swelling of the streams and rivers that flow over the Dri takes with it a lot of urban waste that is thrown away by the inhabitants here and there across the border with Kosovo, causing quite a bit of concern for tourists and fishermen.
During this year, a series of initiatives have been undertaken for the cleaning and prevention of urban waste in this lake, but it seems that the situation continues to be the same.
